With a few minutes to spare before this day ends lemme write this…

Me, knocking on Ithal’s door. And you, residing the room across the hall, opened yours instead. It’s such an old story, it’s almost epic. I wish I saw what I looked like that moment, because you look so funneh back then, and I am so sure I looked as funny, if not funnier, as you were. Why else would you laugh so hard then? Oh, that laugh of yours. THAT legendary laugh of yours.

We became friends since then.

My darling Danica, I am so happy to be friends with yew. But just so you know, you’re just not a friend to me. You are the big (literally and/or figuratively.you choose) sister I wish I had. The avid fan, my struggling humor desperately needs. The therapist, whom I will never be afraid to confide my problems with. My instant pick-me-up, better than a cup of coffee could ever offer. The person who was never selfish, who would offer to share a bed with me, because I was too scared to sleep in a roommateless dark dorm room. ( To think that we’re a little over the average size. hahaha. how tibs can we get?) For that, Thank you so much and sorry. Ilang months ba ako naki-leach sa kama mo? Sorry, you know how praning I get, since I dont have a roommate. That’s okay though, right? Because I let you use my strawberry shampoo. I even gave you a bottle ( okay, yung tira nung last bottle ko, but still… hahaha)

You are such a darling. The way you effortlessly make us laugh. How you sing Shakira’s She-wolf with just nasal noises. And who could ever ever forget how much of an action star you are? (biting a hold-upper’s hand. srsly, that’s so gross. Imagine if kaka-ihi lang nya? nyiiiii. and jumping off of a moving jeepney. you, stunt woman, you) You are just too adorable. Oooh! And remember that big fan in OUR, when you passed by it like a gangster would and it suddenly sprayed water on you? waaay to funneh. I love you for being you.

Now that you are 32 years old, live your life to the fullest. Being the amazing woman we all know you are, all you have to do is reach for your stars with two hands and grab ‘em like a mad woman. Whatever you heart wishes, we hope, you’ll get because you deserve it and so, so much more. Whatever happens, we gotcha back, girl. We looove you so much.
